Things to do in Coconut Grove

Established in the 1800s, Coconut Grove, or simply “the Grove” to locals is Miami’s oldest neighborhood.  An art and entertainment district, with a mix of shops and lively outdoor cafes set in a laid-back village by the bay.

  1. Shop, dine, and catch a movie at CocoWalk
  2. Dine at Glass & Vine, LeBouchon Du Grove, or Bellini
  3. Take a walk down one of the oldest streets in Florida, Charles Avenue. Lined with narrow shotgun houses, churches and a cemetery.  Michael Jackson filmed the music video for Thriller here.
  4. Visit Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
  5. Barnacle State Historic Park
  6. Mayfair in the Grove – great shops & live music
  7. Take advantage of the monthly events and weekly events, which include:
    • Fashion & Art & Music Night every first Saturday
    • Free historic bike tours every second Saturday
    • Weekly free yoga classes held at Peacock Park
